As a massage therapist accredited by quality labels ASCA and RME, classical massages are reimbursed by most health insurances complementary.

Important

Each patient must first check with their insurer if the chosen therapy and the therapist are covered by supplementary insurance.

ASCA fundation

April 21, 1991 incorporated by specialists in health insurance and with therapists, the Foundation acts ASCA for recognition and development of alternative and complementary therapies is a neutral, independent and non-profit.

It promotes professional ethics considering approaching each therapist. She has over 20 years of experience serving therapists, health practitioners, insurers and patients.

ASCA insurers

Insurers contracted by the ASCA are : 

RME

Since 1999, RME makes an essential contribution to quality assurance in empirical medicine in Switzerland, thanks to the work done in collaboration with professional organizations, training centers, insurers and other institutions.

On the basis of a number of well-defined quality criteria such as training, practical experience and continuing education and regular qualifying, the RME checks the qualifications of therapists practicing empirical medicine. Only therapists fulfilling all the quality criteria receive the RME quality label.

Please consider the fact that this information on the insurers have a purely informative character and they validate any right to reimbursement.

Each insurer is free to decide the repayment of a method or not, how it allocates and refunds if the refund depends on particular provisions or other conditions that registration RME.

Each insurer may revise it in any time. All details concerning refunds are to apply directly to the insurer concerned.
